About Me
My name is Mindy Bonham, and I am a Health Education major with a minor in Geology. My husband and I enjoy staying active and doing anything outside. I am not familiar with blogs at all, but I am looking forward to using them because I think it is another great networking tool. Since I am a geology minor I think blogs will be particularly helpful because I can post pictures/videos and discuss the minerals and show them to the students. It will be a great study tool for them and a great resource for me.

Yes blogs are a great study tool! Students can even post questions to you or to other students on your blog if they do not understand something.
ReplyDeleteI love geology - that is a great minor. Posting pictures/videos on a blog would definately be helpful. It would have helped me a long time ago when I had to learn and identify different types of rocks. Good Luck with your blog.
ReplyDeleteAs a dancer, I have found that visuals, whether they are imagined or tangible are the key to success in understanding concepts and movement of the body. As such, I can see how pictures and diagrams would be very helpful for your students. Plus, you can add an explanation so that those who are visual learners can benefit just as much as those who are not. :)
