RSS Feeds

The first RSS feed I subscribed to was... http://www.nutrition.gov/nal_display/index.php?info_center=11&tax_level=1. This is a great website for easy to access food and nutritional information. It also contains current health issues we are facing today, and September is Childhood Obesity Awareness Month if you did not know that already!

Second I chose... http://www.health.gov/dietaryguidelines/. This is also an excellent website to look at what U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommend for not only daily nutrition, but ways to stay healthy throughout our lifetime. It also has links to articles written by professionals from an array of topics.

Last but not least... www.kidsgeo.com/geology-for-kids/! I love this website because it is perfect for kids! It is easily marked so you can pick and choose what you want to learn about instead of having to search all around the website for what you want!

  1. I love that you found a good RSS feed for kids. Sometimes kids know so much more about the internet because they are growing up in a technologically advancing world, but I often fear that there is not enough child friendly material for them to use...and they end up getting into trouble.
